I recieved this pretty sunset postcard from Hana in Belgium this morning. Its a picture of Sint Martinus church in Genk.

This postcard was originally sent to me in October by my sister, and arrived today. I guess it took its own sweet Jamaican time to get here. Even though the frank mark is dated the 29th of January!
Yah Mon, Irie!

I recieved this safari card from Marlize in South Africa today
There is a Chacma baboon family, hippo and a calf, a warthog family, an elephant and cald, a Burchell’s Zebra with foal, lioness with cubs and a giraffe with calves.

This is one of my favourite postcards, from Kaile in Estonia. It shows the national symbols of Estonia – Cornflowers (rukkilill) Limestone (paekivi) and Barn Swallows (suitsupääsuke)
Kaile also sent me this card with puppies and bears on for Valentines day at the same time.

This colourful postcard arrived today from Sue in Malaysia! It reminds me very much of the markets I visited off of La Rambla in Barcelona

These came through the post this morning from Tommy in Croatia, check out his blog on my blog roll!
This evening a friend of mine were reminiscing a particular time and I commented that I had old photos somewhere and he was keen to see, as I was rummaging around in my old photo piles and found a bunch of postcards from a few years ago that I must have packed away with my photos when I emigrated.
Firstly a few postcards I picked up on a weekend trip to Barcelona for a surprise 21st birthday -
This is the Sagrada Familia, designed by Gaudi . Construction began in 1882 and continues to this day.
This is another shot of Segrada Familia.
I picked these two postcards (above and below) at Museu Picasso de Barcelona. The portrait below reminded me of someone I knew.

These next few postcards I picked up on my trip to cornwall -
The beautiful Stonehenge
One of my favourite places in Cornwall – Mousehole. I have a lot of fond memories of this little harbour village :)
Including its cheesy Christmas lights!
These last few I picked up on my outing to Lands End in Cornwall

This postcard was welcoming me home from work today all the way from Pradeep in Botswana
one the back is written – ’Leopards are probably Africsa’s most beautiful and elusive cats, seldom seen due to their solitary behaviour. Of all the big cats they are the most at home in trees where they rest or store their prey out of reach of lions and hyenas.’
